Superfan

Rough concept sketches for a proposed children's animation series by Johnny Otto. These were rough sketches to determine an artistic direction only. The project never progressed far enough to develop finished renderings.

The production company igKnight Productions was in need of Character Concept Art to accompany a pitch for a children's animated TV series. Presented here are mostly the final piees but there are a few rough sketches including the audition sample which got us hired.

Medicare Website Redesign

A newly redesigned Medicare Marketplace website for Seniors to make finding and purchasing Medicare plans as simple as possible was pitched to a wide range of Medicare Carriers. These boards accompanied the sales pitches for which we did not participate.

The Tempest

For the comapny Prologue, we were one of several teams tasked with translating the Conceptual Designs for various visual effects into storyboards, all depicting the effects in context within the scenes for which theywere designed. Presented here are selected scenes.

The Ant Bully

For Herzog - Cowen, presentation boards were created to accompany a proposal for a simple interactive game to be included among the other supplemental material featured on the DVD release of the film.

Pacific Theater

An independent film short that deals with a moralistic dilemma during the Korean War. The challenge was that the film was silent and relied o the actor and eventually ambient sound to tell the story. Presented here are segements from the entire film.

Carmen

This second joint effort with Andrew Johnston was much larger in scope. His client - The Celestial Opera Company - held live performances of Carmen which were captured in a manner similar to a PBS recorded event complete with multiple cameras, recorded sound and even a DVD produced by us for promotional and archival purposes only.

Oasis: Brass Inspirations

Our first joint effort with Andrew Johnston of HLC Studios executed all video production services for a live musical event and TCC assisted as second Camera Operator. This team effort confirmed and solidified an early satisfactory working relationship which lead to teaming up on another project - Carmen.

Originally intended to merely document our productio process such as going on location to assess camera set-up and sound needs. We quickly decided also document the behind the scenes activities of the production.

A collection of photos taken from when we visited the venue in person to assess any and all video production needs. It proved to be quite unforgiving but as you view the photos and video clips you will see we made this space work despite the location being chosen by the production team.

While employed at AGE, Matthew received his entry into digital photography. Unfortunately, the shooting conditions were not ideal but he made it work and with a bit of clever solutions and retouching, he managed to produce some great work.

Two concepts were created on spec and have won their attention.  We are first on the list as a candidate to create and execute the actual title cards and title sequences.

The Legend of Wasco

We were asked by Forbidden Films to provide the graphic elements for an opening credit title sequence.  We did not design the sequence but were shown rough animatic and given guidelines as to what the elements should contain.  Otherwise, the artistic direction was left up to us..

Publication and Media Design

Carmen DVD Packaging

A non-profit theatre group for which we recorded the live performances also allowed us to produce DVDs of the performances. This is the final design for the packaging - the outer sleeve and the DVD face.

The Boy Who Cried Dog - Childrens Book

A children's book that has a twist on the traditional story (The Boy Who Cried Wolf). A complete redesign was implemented for this book as the author was not content with the original designer's approach.

An independent author was writing a book about two stripper's who left a long and sordid lifestyle in that industry and who managed to escape it and start over with new careers and became parents. This was a psuedo memoire tone all the while being fictional.

A Logo and Packaging design was produced for a long defunct start-up company. This was to be used as their Promo Reel used in part with their EPKs and in person meetings.
